Dr. Garrard’s program will focus on the incredible growth of social media and the impact of that growth on pharmaceutical organizations. It will also cover the most up-to-date statistics regarding adverse event reporting through social media outlets, and the FDA’s most recent communication on the subject.
“It’s clear that adverse event reporting through social media is on the radar of many pharmaceutical organizations today,” said Dr. Garrard. “As a company focused on drug safety, we want to help those organizations understand their responsibilities with regard to adverse events posted on Web 2.0 platforms.”
