Closing the Care Gap
to Manage Product Safety Risks

Improving the safety of pharmaceutical products is achievable by benchmarking and disseminating the safe medication prescribing practices of expert clinicians instead of requiring a RiskMAP.

The resulting safety program, derived from practicing physician insights and best practices, is by its nature both practical and implementable. It can avoid the intrusiveness that may come with a formal RiskMAP, helping to mitigate safety events without disrupting the physician’s office practice flow.

The collaborative design of safety improvement programs by practicing physicians, Marketing, Medical Affairs and Clinical Safety is described, and is important to ensure that appropriate use is achieved, without compromising either patient safety or product benefit.

More About the Care Gap

Variability in care results from vastly different experiences, training, habits, comfort levels, and processes. These variances may develop into a care delivery gap that ParagonRx® has learned to overcome.
